Every day is a chance to learn something new and turn vacation inspiration into exceptional experiences for millions of travelers worldwide.The Senior Financial Analyst will prepare, coordinate, collect, analyze and present budget and monthly forecast information to support Executive Managementβs decision-making.Β Consult in all reporting areas of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial, operating and statistical information for SBU managementβs utilization in decision making.Β Reconcile accounts in significant and/or technical areas. Responsibilities include month-end close, forecasting, annual budget, statistical analysis, reporting, modeling, revenue recognition and controls.Β Although this is a fully remote role, applicants must reside within a commutable distance to Indianapolis, IN to attend regular meetings.
How You'll Shine:
Prepare, coordinate, collect, analyze and present financial data for management, containing detailed analysis of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial results.Β Β
Prepare accurate forecasts monthly utilizing historical trend analysis and related research of industry and economic impacts on business.Β Communicate significant variances to management.Β Assist in preparation of annual budget.Β
Reconcile accounts timely and accurately.
Provide financial and accounting expertise in support of existing and new products and projects that require a financial subject matter expert.Β Specific functions include providing financial analysis, financial modeling and reporting for new products.Β Projects will be assigned based on areas of expertise.
Develop processes to simplify and streamline procedures in order to eliminate unnecessary and duplicate work.
Assist and support management to resolve business, technical, and procedure compliance issues, and to interpret financial results.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's in accounting/finance Degree; Accounting preferred. CPA or MBA a plus. Excellent understanding of GAAP (accrual basis) Accounting.
Ability to work under pressure, function well both independently and within the team
Demonstrated consulting skills used to diagnose and correct situations of non-compliance in accounting and operational issues
Ability to re-engineer and implement business process improvements in operational areas, resolve challenging business situations
Excellent financial analysis and business modeling skills
Demonstrated organizational & time management skills to meet recurring deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Microsoft Excel level Intermediate to advance
4 years analytical or accounting experience in a similar position.
Demonstrated ability to organize, process and analyze a large volume of financial information in a timely manner.
Experience in month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations, Oracle, NetSuite and/or Essbase, querying financial and statistical data, budgeting, forecasting, modeling and SEC reporting
Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement.
