Join our dynamic Financial Planning & Analysis Team as a Senior Financial Analyst focused on Business Management. As a key player within the Finance and Business Management team of a leading automotive F&I provider, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Leadership, and internal departments to drive financial insights, shape business strategies, and optimize processes. Responsibilities:

  • Lead Profitability Modeling: Drive profitability modeling for new deal acquisitions, collaborating with product development, acquisitions, and sales teams. Serve as the subject matter expert on model outputs and spearhead the transition from Excel to advanced tools like Power BI and Power Automate.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive monthly financial packages for our regional VPs, featuring a detailed Income Statement, paired with revenue and expense variance driver analysis, as well as other ancillary performance reporting with the goal of providing insights that influence strategic decisions.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Forecast and budget the financial performance of the regional sales teams based on run-rate analysis, sales leadership inputs, and macroeconomic drivers and assumptions.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial and business analyses, including but not limited to what-if and sensitivity analysis, to deliver key insights to support senior management in decision-making and strategy development.
  • Process Improvement: Increase productivity and efficiency by automating workflows, improving data integration, and developing standardized and customized reports, dashboards, and tools to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Business/Data Analytics, Financial Reporting, or Strategy.
  • Solid problem-solving skills, with a natural curiosity to explore data and uncover insights.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Exemplary communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, with a working knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and experience with Power BI and Power Automate.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Essbase, SAS, Spark, Scala, or Python is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate skillfully with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in identifying, recommending, and implementing process enhancements.
