About The Opportunity

This position will be responsible for the financial support & oversight of multiple ORBIS manufacturing locations within North America. The individual in this role will work closely with the plant leadership teams for these sites on matters related to financial analysis, issue identification, budgeting and internal controls. The role is based in Oconomowoc but will require periodic travel to assigned manufacturing locations. In addition to supporting plants, this position will be assigned centralized finance & accounting responsibilities for all ORBIS manufacturing operations and will provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to the operations leadership team. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of supporting business partners, strong financial acumen with a focus on process improvement, and exemplary communication skills.
  • Financial ownership for assigned manufacturing locations with a focus on providing business decision support to key stakeholders.
  • Monthly review and analysis of plant financial and operating results, including communication of key findings to the respective Plant Manager, Director of Operations, and Finance Director.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial statements during month-end and year-end closing.Β  Perform general ledger account reconciliations for assigned areas of responsibility.Β 
  • Ensure predictability of financial results by driving an effective annual budgeting process.
  • Perform financial analysis on proposed capital projects, including assessments of internal rate of return (IRR), net present value (NPV), and investment payback period.Β 
  • Provide insight to the plant leadership teams on how to optimize inventory levels, prioritize capital investments, identify opportunities for efficiency, eliminate waste and control spend.
  • Continuously look for ways to simplify, standardize & automate recurring tasks and procedures.
  • Assist plants with cost accounting and physical inventory procedures on an as-needed basis.Β 
  • Work on any special projects as assigned by the Operations or Finance leadership teams.
