We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join Tektronix Finance team supporting SSO (service solutions) business leaders and the Finance Director. The role will allow you to grow skill sets, impact, and scope over time, ideally lead to opportunities for career growth at Tektronix, other operating companies, and our parent company, Fortive. A successful candidate must have a strong focus on accuracy/timeliness, and an innate drive for continuous improvement.Β
The position is either located at Tektronix offices in Beaverton, OR with a hybrid work schedule or remote depending on your location.Β

Responsibilities:
- Key player in the monthly close and forecast process to ensure on time reporting of our monthly financial results and updated financial forecast to the SSO leadership, which includes:
- Partnering with business leaders to consolidate and analyze actuals, including forecast variances, develop and load forecast, identify any gaps to current financial forecast, and provide suggestions of countermeasures.
- Partnering with Accounting to research actuals and submit accruals.
- Integral partner in the annual budget process from financial target setting on building budget schedules and deck to facilitate global SSO budget process
- Partner with business leaders to understand margins profile across the portfolio and identify areas to improve and drive margin expansion through pulling and analyzing large data sets.
- Drive business analysis and business case development for capital projects and other business initiatives.
- Assist with global SSO consolidation and submission of financials and statistics.Β
- Identifying and driving opportunities for process improvements and workflow automation.
Qualifications and Characteristics:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field required.
- 5+ years' experience with accounting and FP&A.
- Experience with Hyperion/EPBCS a plus.Β
- Cost accounting knowledge is a plus.
- Sophisticated Excel skills. Proficiency with Power Query, Power BI, and/or workflow automation tools a plus

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally at various levels within the organization.
