Summary

The Business Analyst will work within the Division of Data Services & Analytics (DDSA) Data Sharing team to manage and document project and request requirements.  The ideal candidate will utilize their experience and skill set to coordinate internal and external requests for data from the NYS Department of Health’s Medicaid program. The candidate will follow established processes, align with federal and state laws and regulations, and provide creative solutions to complex problems with multiple stakeholders.

Comprehensive on-the-job training and peer/supervisory support will be provided. The candidate should be able to take on new tasks and subject areas, willing to work in a team environment, and able to adjust to multiple priorities successfully.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.


• At least 4 years’ experience in related field.


• Strong ability to interpret business needs and connect to technical specifications and policy requirements.


• Understand organizational vision and standards relevant to individual requests/projects and identify requirements to achieve success.


• Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment to move projects forward.


• Experience creating document/report templates and documentation.


• Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.


• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and time-management skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft office, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word required; experience with SharePoint, Teams, Power Point, and Visio preferred.

Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, SSO provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role.
