The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst will coordinate the development of monthly financial result packages and presentations for the divisional and senior leadership teams

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and play integral role in preparation of the monthly and quarterly financial review presentations for senior leadership and board review meetingsΒ 
  • Perform variance and trend analysis and put forward recommendations for improvement
  • Deliver financial information to operations and other stakeholders for decision support
  • Other ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as may be assigned
  • Support the annual budget process as required, including branch level data input, consolidation and reporting

Education:

  • University degree in Business or Finance

Requirements:

  • CPA or equivalent (preferred)
  • 5-7 years post-secondary accounting experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, well organized, energetic, and self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail, technical and analytical ability
  • Highly skilled with Excel and PowerPoint, and a demonstrates a willingness to learn new systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with an approachable demeanor
  • Ability to work extended hours to meet quarter closing deadlines as needed
