POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Financial Analyst, Population Health provides support to advance and execute Lifepoint Health's Population Health Strategy. This position is responsible for conducting financial analysis and coordinating finance-based initiatives to support value-based care programs and initiatives across numerous Clinically Integrated Networks (CIN) and hospital-based programs.

Lead initiation, planning and execution and ongoing support of finance and accounting projects with specific ability to identify, investigate and implement workflow enhancements.
Works independently, with minimal guidance, to develop budget variance analysis and deliver to business owners across the organization, partnering with budget owners across the organization managing vendor spend, allocation of new hires, and forecasting expenses.
Assist network finance leadership to develop and manage network funds flow and payment distribution models.
Monitor and report data-driven metrics across various dimensions (financial, clinical quality, patient experience, provider engagement, documentation/coding, etc.).
Provide analytic support, both qualitative and quantitative in support of population health and value-based care programs with ability to derive insights from opportunity analyses.
Support claims-based analyses, quality control of data releases and dashboard management pertaining to value-based programs.
Facilitate recurring and ad hoc analytic analyses, reporting packages, or presentations in support of program management.
Develop subject matter expertise on matters pertaining to performance-based payments, bundled payments, Accountable Care Organizations, payer partnerships, risk contracting, narrow/tiered networks, and clinical integration.
