Position Summary:

Analyzes company functions, processes, and activities to improve computer-based business applications for the most effective use of man, methods, machine, and materials. May support Program Management, Quality, Product Develop and Production Teams with Data Analyses, Capability Studies, and Data trends.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Gather data, analyze data, and deliver accurate reports in a timely manner.
  • Excel Expertise capable of compiling data, format information, and report results or trends
  • Minitab software user knowledge.
  • Automotive OEM Customer Interfacing
  • Statistical Analyses supporting different production processes and specific customer requirements.
  • Support Program Manager and Product Development during new Product Launches
  • Support Quality and Production teams with data analyses and solutions.
  • Utilizes available computer systems resources and personnel to carry out analysis to support performance improvement.
  • Reviews and analyzes information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Works with a cross-functional team to determines most useful business solutions for the company.
  • Performs duties concerned with the design and improvement of computer-based business systems.
  • Works closely with managers to identify and solve a variety of computer-based business system problems.
  • Analyzes requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing business systems.
  • Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures and identify problems.
  • KPI’s creation, update, and development.
  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical analysis methods.
  • Build analysis and reporting capabilities and provide ongoing reports.
  • Support the development and implementation of databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Advanced technical skills.
  • Experience in collecting, analyzing, and reporting data from manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • MS Office skills.
  • Power BI Skills
  • Ability to work and communicate with senior management and demanding OEM customers.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field

Experience:

5+ years of relevant analyst experience 

Technical expertise related to data models, data design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.

Automotive Manufacturing Experience is a plus.

Experience with Oracle a plus.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Office and production environments

Ability to sit for long periods of time

Extended periods of exposure to computer
