Job Title: Tableau Administrator

Location: St. Louis, MO - Hybrid

Job Type: Contract

Experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Tableau Server or Tableau Online.
• Strong understanding of Tableau architecture, including workbooks, data sources, extract refresh schedules, and server maintenance.
• Experience managing user permissions, security, and access within Tableau environments.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting Tableau performance issues and optimizing dashboards.

Technical Skills:

• Deep knowledge of Tableau Server/Online features, including scheduling, content management, and server configuration.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) to troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or batch scripting for automating administrative tasks is a plus.
• Understanding of data governance concepts and experience implementing data security measures in Tableau.
