Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled I.T. Business Analyst specializing in Claims Data and Analytics. The role allows for a hybrid work model, with 3 to 4 days per week from home for local Ohio residents.


Key Qualifications

  • Industry Experience: Insurance, Medical Claims, or Healthcare background required.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience working with medical claims processing data, patient data, population health data, physician care data, and medical provider data.
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Proficiency with tools such as Tableau, Synapse, PowerBI, and Excel.


Responsibilities


Business Analysis and Project Management

  • Collaborate with I.T. and Operational leaders, as well as technical experts.
  • Manage data reports in both direct and indirect matrix structures.
  • Develop project milestones, deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate projects, provide advice, and coach team members on key activities.
  • Create and submit project proposals, and implement approved project plans.
  • Develop and ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures.


Strategy Development:

  • Work with senior management to develop strategies that align with the overall business plan.
  • Translate business requirements into system solutions and designs.
  • Act as a liaison between leaders and various teams to drive efficiency within claims data processes.
  • Suggest and influence process improvements moving forward.
