The CCAR Governance, Process and Monitoring Sr. Analyst will be responsible for the review of documentation, data assessment and production support of Comprehensive Capital and Analysis Review (CCAR) schedules. CCAR is an annual process completed by Client to ensure institutions have robust, forward-looking capital planning processes that account for unique risks and sufficient capital to continue operations throughout times of economic and financial stress.
This analyst will support the CCAR production in FRO to enhance the governance framework to achieve greater standardization, consistency, and sustainability. This position will support the production of the CCAR processes (FR Y14A, 14Q, 14M schedules), to ensure they are complete, produced timely and accurately. The position has responsibility for all FR Y-14 related processes being compliant with current regulations, supported by documentation standards and with effective preventive and detective controls. The position will liaise closely with the CCAR GPO, Corporate Reporting, Country/Product Controllers, Technology and Finance and will coordinate with counterparts in FRO Centers including Center Heads and Global & Regional Process Leads.
This position has responsibility for the quality and granularity assessments of CCAR data and for closing and change control coordination. The process also includes data acquisition leveraging GENESIS and report preparation leveraging US Reg Insight combined with legacy processes. The production framework has embedded controls to ensure data is reconciled and properly mapped to according to CCAR requirements. The supervision will escalate issues and discrepancies noted in the production process for root cause remediation.
Description/Duties:
β’ Regular assessment of data granularity, mappings and rules related to FR Y-14 reports. Review and monitoring of attestations, documentations and change management.
β’ Monthly, quarterly and annual preparation of FR Y14A, 14Q and 14M schedules; establish effective working relationships with CCAR GPO and CCAR work streams.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple functions (Corporate Reporting, Finance, Risk, Operations Technology).
β’ Participate on committees and working-groups with Finance, Risk, Risk Architecture, Corporate Reporting and CSS FRO. Escalate issues and interface with operations units ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken.
β’ Produce metrics to senior management highlighting key issues and remediation status, maintain and enhance related operational and analytical procedures.
β’ Perform key controls, with proper documentation, and facilitate MCA testing; identify opportunity to optimize processes.
β’ Responsible for the reconciliation among different reports, including FR Y-9c, FFIEC101, and /or other Regulatory reports.
β’ Effective communication: presentations to Senior Management, issue resolution with Technology.

Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications:
β’ Bachelors/MBA degree
β’ 5 + years experience working in an accounting/finance environment, including familiarity with financial systems
β’ Accounting, Regulatory reporting or Audit experience, CPA preferred.
β’ Operations and Product knowledge
β’ Project Management experience
Technical Skills
β’ Proficiency in MS Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Access/SQL preferred)
β’ Knowledge of accounting and financial/regulatory reporting
β’ Ability to grasp and master new concepts/requirements and related product/functional knowledge
