Data Specialist

Description/Duties:

The Data Specialist will provide support to the NASA Human Landing System (HLS) Program Mission Systems Management (MSM) Office at Marshall Space Flight Center. The candidate will work alongside the Contract Officer Representatives, Technical Managers and MSM office manager as data is moved between the commercial providers and the HLS government team. The primary role will be to track and manage contract deliverables while collaborating with team members across the program.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must be a U.S Citizen.
• Must possess or be eligible to possess a public trust.
• Candidate must have at least 15 years of experience in a related field.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree.
• Candidate must have experience managing data and documentation on government contracts.
• Must possess technical knowledge such that you can effectively capture clear descriptions in data exchange records.
• Candidate will have demonstrated excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and co-workers.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Project applications.
• Candidate must have experience developing flow charts that capture data-related processes.
• Candidate must possess the ability to assist the technical evaluation team in development of products needed to support request for proposals, technical evaluations, and finalizing the final products for award.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with NASA contracts is preferred.
• Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.
• Strong Organizational Skills is desired.
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with team members at multiple NASA centers is preferred.
