Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the Onsite Supportive Housing Services (OSHS) department by building capacity to support the department’s billing, compliance, and reporting needs. This position will work closely with many partners internally and externally including Catholic Charities accounting team, Catholic Housing Ventures (CHV), Community Volunteers and funders of OSHS services.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

1. Work with Catholic Charities accounting and program staff to review and reconcile FCS billing.
2. Support the management team in reviewing and submitting the GOSH activity reports monthly
3. Assist in the training and capacity building of billing and reporting systems for OSHS.
4. Provides monthly HMIS reports to the City of Spokane for all OSHS, as directed
5. Regularly runs HMIS data quality reports and leads the process for securing any required data fixes
6. Assists case managers and other direct service staff in understanding and improving data input for all of the systems used by OSHS
7. Prepare periodic reports for submission to funding sources

8. Run monthly reports in Salesforce and assign updates and fixes to staff.

9. Assists Data and Compliance Specialist, CCEW Data Services, and program leadership in data collection, monitoring, and improving systems within Salesforce.Β Β 

10. Uses appropriate administrative, fiscal, physical, and technical safeguards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of CCEW client protected health information (PHI), per regulations outlined in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)
11. Will regularly utilize all forms of communication (email, text, phone, etc.) and database practices necessary for this position and as directed by supervisor.
12. As a mandated reporter, follow all procedures outlined in agency policies and procedures to report to the proper agency when there is suspicion and/or confirmation that a child or adult has been a victim of abuse or neglect.

13. Check Catholic Charities email at least twice during each shift.Β

Education/Experience:Β  to perform this job successfully, an individual must have: BA in social services field or equivalent experience.Β  Knowledge and/or experience in data systems, and report management; experience in direct client services.Β  Experience working with issues of homelessness, poverty and violence against women and children preferred.

Β 

Certificates/Licenses:Β  To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a valid Driver’s License and ability to drive for work use. Successfully pass background check applicable to position.

Physical Abilities:Β  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:
