Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Visualization Engineer to develop interactive, mission-critical dashboards that enhance federal agencies' ability to analyze, interpret, and act on complex datasets. This role requires expertise in data storytelling, UX/UI optimization, and automation for federal AI-driven analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and real-time data visualization tools using Power BI, Tableau, D3.js, and Google Looker.
- Collaborate with federal AI and data science teams to present complex machine learning insights in an intuitive format for decision-makers.
- Develop and integrate APIs for ingesting federal datasets, including cybersecurity, compliance, and geospatial intelligence sources.
- Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, Zero Trust, and federal IT security frameworks.
- Optimize UI/UX for dashboard accessibility, responsiveness, and ease of use across federal agency environments.
- Automate reporting processes to streamline real-time data analysis for federal stakeholders.
- Support proposal and business development efforts by contributing to data-driven decision-making and performance analytics.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or dashboard development.
- Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, D3.js, Google Looker, or other federal analytics tools.
- Experience working with federal datasets, including AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, SQL, and RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of federal IT security requirements, compliance regulations, and Zero Trust security models.
- Ability to translate complex federal data models and AI outputs into actionable visual insights.
- Experience with performance monitoring, data automation, and dashboard scalability in a federal contracting setting.
- Preferred: Public Trust clearance (or eligibility) for GSA, HHS, or similar federal projects.
