The Financial Analyst, Corporate will be responsible for supporting the company’s financial analysis and reporting needs. The individual in this role will lead/support various financial processes, including quality assurance validations, forecasting, and profitability analysis, all while working closely with key business/operations stakeholders to provide financial insights and forecasts for the organization

Full time hybrid role based out of the Somerset, New Jersey location.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead quality assurance validations of customer and project-level financials on a monthly basis.
  • Gather and consolidate financial data related to labor and sales forecasts weekly, and report forecast to senior leadership.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for the company’s pricing efforts, ensuring programs achieve profitability metrics and validating appropriate cost inputs for pricing purposes.
  • Collect and consolidate financial data from key stakeholders during financial forecast and budget cycles.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis on customer, business unit, and service offering profitability.
  • Support the month-end close process through variance-to-forecast and trend analysis.

Qualifications

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field strongly preferred. Equivalent business experience will be considered

Business Experience: 2+ years of related, practical experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting or data analytics or equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power-Point.
  • Fundamental knowledge and skills in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
  • Comfortable working with large and complex data sets; technical and analytical skills
  • Curiosity, positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Strong work ethic; initiative and pro-activity
  • Effective communication
  • Adaptability and flexibility
