Financial Analyst

Long & Associates, LLC, (L&A), a financial management, business consulting, and administrative support services firm, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team. The position will provide financial analysis, forecasting, modeling, and budgetary support to CDC Leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and communicate analysis to assist CDC Leadership in their decision-making.
• Analyze financial reports and translate them into concise summaries for management.
• Coordinate and update budgets and forecasts, and run financial models to support different budget and forecast scenarios.
• Perform financial analysis, identify and provide commentaries on key budget/forecast variances.
• Provide management support and spend plan execution oversight for customers, including budget spend plan revisions.
• Provide technical support for tasks/responsibilities, including vetting projections, and validating manual commitments before CIO authorization to obligate funding.
• Prepare reports for CDC Leadership and programs based on analysis of current budget data.
• Monitor and update budget data in computer systems.
• Provide support for the development and execution of interagency and intra-departmental delegation of authority agreements.
• Provide program support to cooperative agreement award actions.

• BS Degree
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Experience with all Microsoft Office Products
