Job Title: Financial Analyst
Job Summary:Β We are seeking a meticulous and driven Analyst to join our finance team. The Analyst will be responsible for budgeting and monthly analysis of financials. Β The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a weekly Cash Projection
- Budgeting
- Preparation of Budget
- Preparation of a rolling 18-month ForecastΒ
- Loading the budgets and forecasts in our accounting software
- Create Comparison reports in our accounting software against budget and forecast
- Monthly comparison of P&L to Forecast and Budget
- Dig into critical variances for comments on the financials
- Analyze profitability of markets
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential financial risks.
- Collections
- Supervise our collections specialist
- Prepare reports for the collectionβs specialistΒ
- Run the collections meeting with our field operations
- Collections software admin
- Cash
- Supervise our cash accountant
- Fill out forms to set up customers on ACH
- Take Credit Card payments in Square
- Accounts Payable
- Review posted invoices in our accounts payable system
- Ensure proper GL coding for invoices
- Review historical payments last 18 months to insure our accruals are correctΒ
- Vendor Reconciliations
- A/P check run
- Prepare and file tax returns (income tax, sales tax, etc.) accurately and on time
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met
- Provide support to finance team members as needed
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and examine financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field strongly preferred
- Analysis experience (2-5 years)Β
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP).
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (experience with ERP systems a plus).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial software (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
