Essential DutiesΒ
Prepare debt and/or equity offering memoranda for commercial real estate transactions, including gathering client and property information, section write ups, creating tables, graphs and charts, and managing the graphic design process in conjunction with a graphic designerΒ
Analyze and evaluate rent rolls and operating statements of properties being considered for financing or sale to determine feasibility and valuationΒ
Prepare pro forma statements and projections which accurately reflect historical cash flow performance of properties, as well as current and projected future market conditionsΒ
Prepare financial models in Excel and Argus for clients which outline valuation and pricing structuresΒ
Prepare discounted cash flow analysesΒ
Research, analyze, and evaluate market feasibility for various real estate transactionsΒ
Prepare debt sizings to determine possible financing options for each dealΒ
Assist in collecting and evaluating required due diligence for transactions: make necessary inquiries to clients to ensure that information is provided timelyΒ
Understand and review real estate documents (leases, operating statements, rent rolls, loan documents, appraisals, etc.) to determine if any issues/inconsistencies existΒ
Convey all particulars of a transaction (financial projections, market and location issues and tenant analysis etc.) in formal written format for financing packages and/or sales offering materials presented to clientsΒ
Generate weekly reports and updates to senior brokers on calling program status and loan quote gridsΒ
Collect lender/investor bids and maintain quote matrix, lender listsΒ
Participate in marketing callsΒ
Contact and respond to lender requests/questionsΒ
Assist in conducting property tours / inspectionsΒ

Β Other Requirements & Administrative DutiesΒ
Bachelorβs Degree (Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, etc.) preferredβ―β―Β
Combination of education without a degree and corporate work experience may be consideredβ―Β
0 to 2 years of commercial real estate financial analysis and/or finance experience preferably with a commercial real estate firm engaged in consulting, appraisal, investing, lending, or brokerage, Capital Markets experience a plusΒ
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyβ―Β
Ability to construct, apply and analyze complex financial models in Excel and Argus Enterprise preferredΒ
Strong written communication skills developing high-level analysis summariesΒ Β
Passion for client delivery, with strong emphasis on producing high-quality work, meeting deadlines, andβ―strong personal initiative to succeed in an entrepreneurial environmentΒ
Ability to function in a team-oriented setting while working independently with limited day-to-day supervisionΒ
