Our fast pace & rapidly expanding company is looking for a strong analytical team member that sees patterns and opportunities that others may miss. This Analyst candidate must be able to produce in-depth reports that suggest strategic and operational changes. The candidate will work face-to-face with leaders to understand their issues and assist them with better decision-making. The candidate will work at the corporate headquarters as this is not a remote position. Β The ideal candidate will collect, monitor, and study business data to create custom reports that help control costs, identify process slowdowns and ensure compliance with industry standards. In addition, we need someone who can look at existing business processes and make specific recommendations about what data needs tracking and how it can be used to improve operations. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in data mining and a proven ability to translate numbers into plain English for business use.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive quality business decisions and process improvement.
  • Identify different types of data that need tracking to improve business performance.
  • Identify/Implement BI tool as needed.Β 
  • Generate easy-to-interpret reports based on collected data.
  • Work with the management team to prioritize suggested changes.
  • Use statistical methods to identify areas for operational improvement and make suggestions for streamlining processes.
  • Work with department managers to create data collection guidelines for internal use.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.Β 
  • Assist leaders with ROI on Capital spend and track spend

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to vendors, customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills; ability to draw conclusions from data and trends.
  • Ability to research and interpret technical resources.
  • Must be able to work in a schedule-driven environment. Timing is a critical function.
  • Excellent at Excel.
  • Proficiency at extracting data from systems.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; or
  • Two to five years of related experience and/or training.
  • Experience with Inventories /Production/ Procurement / Logistics /Sales/ Financials /etc.
  • Experience in working with multiple discipline projects.

Physical Demands:

  • Required to lift up to _25_ lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
  • May be subject to sitting for long periods of time to perform job scope.

Work Environment:

  • Location of position: Corporate Headquarters
  • Work will generally be performed in an office environment.
  • May be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils.
  • May be required to work hours other than regular schedule from time to time.
