Reporting to the Head Start Director/Vice President of Programs, the Program Data Specialist position is responsible for managing Children First’s human service data reporting requirements, utilizing the various agency software systems. This includes, but is not limited to data entry, retrieval of information, systems interface maintenance, scheduled monitoring and reporting, and training. The Program Data Specialist works closely with the Data Consultant, Program Staff, Philanthropy Database Administrator, other Philanthropy staff, and the leadership team to ensure effective cross-departmental data collaboration.
This role requires the exercise of judgment and discretion, including recommending changes and improvements to data systems, troubleshooting system issues, providing training and technical assistance to program staff, and acting as a liaison with systems developers. They will also promote the community image of Children First. Work is reviewed through regular coaching and feedback and annual evaluations with the supervisor.
