Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

1. Manage and analyze data to ensure accuracy.

2. Use data-driven storytelling and analysis to uncover insights, trends, and business opportunities effectively influencing stakeholder decisions.

3. Utilize data sources and tools to provide regularly scheduled measurement reporting as well as ad hoc reporting.

4.Β Create and refine data sets to enable self-service data analysis of key performance indicators through dashboards.

5. Own and optimize data segmentation for highly targeted and performance-driven audience marketing campaigns.

6. Identify and recommend improvement opportunities by monitoring existing metrics, analyzing data, and partnering with internal teams as needed.

7. Identify marketing opportunities and scenarios to create and test marketing campaigns as well as assess the final impact on customer performance.

8. Design research projects and analyze marketing metrics to identify actions to improve customer and financial performance.

9. Analyze competitive activity through data, research, and store visits to develop marketing strategies.

10. Conduct market research to determine and evaluate brand perceptions, customer preferences, and market penetration.Β 

11. Utilize and integrate data and market research from surveys and focus groups for growth opportunities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:


Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, Business or any related field plus three (3) years' experience in analysis in an Accounting, Finance or Marketing preferred or other analytical area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Β 

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts, such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
