Job Summary:

i3 Broadband is the leading fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) operator in Illinois, providing Gigabit-speed fiber-based services to residential and commercial customers throughout Central Illinois, Missouri, Rhode Island, and we are growing rapidly. We're searching for a Data Analyst who can oversee all aspects of marketing reporting and build strategic marketing project plans.


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Using data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
  • Organizing and transforming information into comprehensible structures
  • Using data to predict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole
  • Performing statistical analysis of data
  • Using tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs
  • Managing data updates as required to assure accuracy and validity of all data at any given time
  • Delivering Marketing Lists to assure marketing campaigns are executed as scheduled
  • Preparing reports and presenting these to management or clients
  • Monitoring data quality in conjunction with the corporate data analytics team
  • Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
  • Development of requirements for IT and/or vendors based on business stakeholder interviews, system capabilities and available platforms & technologies.
  • Project management of all data-related marketing projects from start to finish.
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with a project
  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are collaborating on a deliverable to ensure team actions remain in synergy with efficiency and accuracy as top priorities across all.
  • Communicating with leaders to assure requirements & output aligned with strategic goals
  • Performing quality control to maintain the standards expected

Required Skills/Abilities:

Data Analysts need to possess extremely strong analytical skills. They need the capacity to work with large amounts of data, extract relevant information and draw logical conclusions. A successful Marketing Data Analyst candidate requires specific prerequisite skills and qualifications including:

  • MUST BE PROFICIENT IN EXCEL (data extraction, pivot tables, charting, analysis).
  • The ability to pay attention to detail when working with data to make accurate conclusions and predictions
  • Understanding of CPNI and PPI regulations, requirements with regards to customer data and marketing activities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share findings with shareholders
  • A solid understanding of marketing operations, multiple data sources, data organization and storage
  • Strong skills in Google Analytics & reporting, PowerBI, AI use in Data visualization, mathematics and analytics.
  • In-depth knowledge of data analysis techniques and how they are best leveraged in our data environments
  • Knowledge of relevant relational databases

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required
  • Five or more years of experience in digital marketing and advertising
  • Able to work with colleagues at all levels to develop marketing goals and evaluate results
  • Good at problem-solving and communication

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
