SUMMARY

Responsible for implementing and following supply chain master data processes and system requirements to ensure a reliable supply of materials to manufacturing.

 

Represent Corden Pharma Colorado requirements to ensure seamless integration of site supply chain global initiatives and policies. Train and educate Corden Pharma Colorado site on Master Data best practices and methodologies.

 

The Master Data Specialist should be able to make ethical decisions and maintain their professional integrity. They should also be visible and act as an ambassador for the company to help ensure employees follow the company's policies and procedures.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Role supports existing supply chain execution systems and SAP implementation project as it pertains to Master Data
  • Maintains Master Data tables in planning and execution systems such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4Hana, and other systems implemented in the future
  • Ensures master data integrity across systems with adherence to corporate policy/standard operating procedures, monitoring the integrations amongst systems, and creating metrics/report of master data health
  • Participates in the product life cycle management process (new product introduction, replacement, discontinuation, etc.) 
  • Actively seeks and implements continuous improvement opportunities with the master data governance strategy, workflow process, procedures, and systems used to maintain master data
  • Works in an agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks
  • Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization
  • Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria
  • Assists in the completion of initiative action items to forward the maturity of Master Data/Product Lifecycle processes and procedures
  • Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology
  • Responsible for refining and following standards which can include drafting, reviewing, and updating policies and procedures on Master Data 
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of Master Data within your role mapping, ensuring data entry and review meets operational, procedural, and regulatory requirements. Master Data tables can include but are not limited to: Bill of Materials, Vendor, Client, Customer, Pricing, Warehouse, Sales, Planning, or Material Master data
  • Improve processes through analysis of business processes and developing strategies to support ongoing efficiency and scaling efforts
  • Support end-users and managers, responding to system outages
  • Monitors and improves performance on site specific Master Data KPIs – including, but not limited to, First Time Quality, SLA adherence, and audit reconciliations

cGMP is the part of Quality Management System ensuring products are consistently produced to accurate quality standards. Adherence to clearly defined procedures, in compliance with the principles of cGMP, is required when performing operations across Corden Pharma Colorado.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university and 4 years of SAP Master Data experience; or 8 years of related SAP Master Data experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in SAP as a system is a must; experience with S/4 HANA SAP is strongly preferred. 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional

journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports,

business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present

information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers,

and the general public.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical

inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and

proportions to practical situations.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in

situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of

instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

SAP Certifications in Master Data Management is a plus.

Actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
