Description

The role of Senior Financial Analyst Capital ImprovementΒ will work closely with the capital improvement team to optimize financial performance, improve profitability, and drive data-driven decision-making across all facets of the business, from procurement to refurbishment and purchasing of new homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, with a strong understanding of the construction, manufacturing, or refurbishment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis reports
    • Analyze financial performance, identify key trends, and provide insights into operational inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the impact of various strategic decisions, including new projects, investments, or cost-saving initiatives.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Lead the budgeting process for the department and develop accurate and detailed annual budgets.
    • Monitor performance against budget and forecast, providing variance analysis and recommending corrective actions.
    • Forecast cash flow and working capital needs based on project timelines and operational requirements.
  • Cost Analysis & Pricing Strategy:
    • Conduct cost analysis on materials, labor, and other variable costs involved in the refurbishment process.
    • Support pricing strategies by analyzing cost structures and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency.
    • Collaborate with the capital improvement team to identify cost-effective solutions for mobile home refurbishments.
    • Implement best practices for financial management, reporting, and data integrity within the business.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar field; MBA or MA preferred
  • 4-7 years of experience
  • Hands-on work in real estate transactions and/or underwriting required
  • Proficient at financial modeling; fluent with Excel, sensitivity analysis, and pivot tables
  • Ability to take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • High degree of proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications including Word, and PowerPoint
  • Highest level of personal and professional integrity
  • Excellent written communication skills

COMPENSATION: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00/Yr (Commensurate upon experience)
