As a data architect on our National Defense team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to lead the design of data architecture solutions for Event-Driven Architecture, big data analytics and cloud computing. You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by analyzing data architecture-related business needs.
In this role, you’ll share your technical expertise, introduce best practices, and use tools like Tableau, and SQL to design data models and business intelligence reports. You’ll lead your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered.

You Have:
8+ years of experience with application support
Experience with using Tableau, Qlik Sense, QlikView, or Qlik NPrinting
Experience with SQL server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
Experience with programing languages, including SQL, Python, or Javascript
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with DevOps, Agile methodologies, and CICD methods and tools
Experience with Cloud infrastructures
Experience with building repositories using star schema, developing subject areas, and applying security, including group, access and query privileges at object and data levels in the administration tool
Experience as a Qlik administrator, including managing proxy rules, changing load balancing rules, and applying expertise in the functional purpose of QLIK nodes
Knowledge of architecting load balancing rules in data visualization tools such as Qlik for broad scalability
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
