- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Library Science, Legal Studies, or related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., IGP, CIP, CRM, CIPP) is a plus;
- Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant work experience in records management, information governance, compliance, or related field, preferably in a legal environment;
- At least 5 yearsβ experience in an information governance or data integrity role, with demonstrated progression in responsibility;
- Deep understanding of information governance principles, practices, and standards, including records management, data privacy, and data security considerations unique to law firms;
- High level expertise in using information governance tools and technologies, with experience in iManage Records Manager (IRM) and iManage Work preferred;
- Experience developing, documenting and, implementing procedures to support information governance policies and guidelines;
- Experience and aptitude with manipulating programs and databases with proven ability to maintain a large quantity of data;
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on practical solutions;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with legal professionals and stakeholders at all levels of the firm;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to collaborate closely with co-workers;
- Strong attention to detail; and
- Ability to work additional hours, as needed.
This position is located in our New York office, and currently has a hybrid work schedule, but that is subject to change. The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered.
