Overview:
Working through Maverick Software Consulting, this qualified student will be a contractor for Thomson Reuters in a Project Coordinator/Business Analyst role. Within Thomson Reuters they will work with a team in supporting portfolio stakeholder engagement work and project coordination. This will include the tracking of projects, financials, communications with stakeholders to ensure awareness of whose responsible, accountable, consulted and informed.
Innovation & Business Analysis
There will be wide variety of opportunities to work in an innovative role within this young division of Thomson Reuters to bring forward new ideas and systems in addition to being able to take on individual projects. This will include the creation of various diagrams, documentation, excel and access metrics to communicate and analyze the current state of the business unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Typical responsibilities may include complex data mining, trend analysis, metric and report production, process maturity and compliance assessment, process flow charting, and iterative process activities (e.g. validity checks, change reviews, data quality checks tool enhancement design and review).
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft O365 Enterprise Suite of Applications, PowerBI a PLUS
- Social Media Marketing, Podcast/Vodcast experience a huge PLUS
- Understands the strategy, organizational authority, interdependence of job duties, systems, and services of an enterprise and how to operate within
- Understands the importance of employee experience and its benefit to company performance
- Understanding information and data flow and how business users interact within and outside an organization

Qualifications
- Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior (with at least 8 months left before gradation)
- Undergraduate student pursuing a degree within the College of Business (Management etc.) -OR- Management Information Systems
- Hours - 20 hours a week while you are taking classes.
- Hours - 40 hours a week over the summer.
- Self-motivated, quick learner, enthusiastic, and eager to apply knowledge.
