• Undergraduate degree required, degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years related work experience.

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for all financial analysis for Baptist Medical Center South to include monthly financial performance reports, monthly operational reports, the calculation of net revenue/reserves and associated journal entries during month end close out, as well as to monitor and analyze productivity. The Senior Financial Analyst participates, as part of a team or individually, on various ad hoc data requests, service line analyses and special projects for both Baptist Medical Center South and the Baptist Health System. Other duties include preparation of both the capital and financial budgets, processing of capital requests and monitoring the capital spend. The Senior Financial Analyst is the financial liaison for new directors and managers training them on the financial tools available (DOR's, FinDet, Budget Variance, PMT, etc.) to help them understand their departmental performance.
